Photos by Halle Grossett-Founded in 1908, the band has been performing pregame, halftime, and fifth-quarter shows at all Maryland Terrapins home football games. For years there have been many traditions that the band participates in that is virtually unknown to many. There are many pre-game and post-game rituals that they partake in each game. The band is the first into the stadium and the last to leave. Their hard work and dedication is not only a reflection of their talent but a representation and symbol of pride here at the University of Maryland.
