The University of Maryland, College Park has been going through some major renovations in recent years, and it will not stop anytime soon. With the construction of the Purple Line, the new M Circle, two new residence halls and a dining facility, and the revamp of turf fields and the Cole Field House, UMD is scheduled to have a makeover taking place through the next decade, according to their strategic plan.
Extreme Makeover: Campus Edition focuses on the construction workers and the developments they are making on campus, as well as the impact the changes have to the student population.
