I chose to photograph two different soccer games that were occurring throughout the day, to enhance my abilities working with outdoor lighting, and practicing shooting in motion. The soccer games were being held at the Germantown recreational center in Montgomery county. One team was an all-girls youth team from Rockville, and the other team was and all men’s club team. Both teams were competing to move on in their division. I shot the images around 4 p.m. where there was an abundance of lighting to work with, but also could impact the way the shadows in my shots were influencing the subjects.
